Ep 4. The Haunted Halls of Waverly Hills Hospital

In season 2 of BuzzFeed Unsolved: Supernatural, Eayn and Ryan continue their exploration of the world's most mysterious and unexplained phenomena. In episode 4, titled "The Haunted Halls of Waverly Hills Hospital," the duo investigate the spooky history and reported paranormal activity at one of the most haunted locations in America.

Waverly Hills Sanatorium, located in Louisville, Kentucky, was constructed in 1910 as a tuberculosis hospital. At the time, tuberculosis was a deadly epidemic and hospitals like Waverly Hills were designed to isolate patients in an attempt to prevent the spread of the disease. Over the years, it is estimated that over 60,000 patients died at Waverly Hills, leading some to believe that the hospital is now inhabited by restless spirits.

In this episode, Eayn and Ryan conduct a thorough investigation of Waverly Hills Hospital, exploring everything from the old operating rooms and morgue to the infamous "body chute" - a tunnel used to transport deceased patients from the hospital to waiting hearses. They interview former staff members and paranormal investigators who have experienced ghostly sightings and eerie events while at the hospital.

Throughout the investigation, Eayn and Ryan use a variety of equipment to try and capture evidence of the supposed hauntings. They use EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recorders to try and capture the voices of spirits, as well as infrared cameras to capture any anomalies or apparitions. They also split up to explore different parts of the hospital, conducting solo investigations to see if they can experience any paranormal activity on their own.

As the investigation continues, Eayn and Ryan become increasingly uneasy. They report feeling cold spots and hearing unexplainable sounds, adding to the overall atmosphere of mystery and tension. They also explore some of the more disturbing aspects of Waverly Hills' history, such as the barbaric treatments that were used on patients and the high mortality rate of those who were sent there.

Despite their best efforts, Eayn and Ryan are unable to definitively prove or disprove the supposed hauntings at Waverly Hills Hospital. However, they do leave with a sense that there is something eerie and unexplainable lurking within the hospital's walls. Fans of the paranormal and true crime will find plenty to enjoy in this chilling and thought-provoking episode of BuzzFeed Unsolved: Supernatural.
