Ep 9. The Hayasaka Twins

Kazuki and Tokiko continue their battle against the homunculi, this time facing off against twin sisters Victoria and Alexandria Hayasaka. The sisters are seemingly invincible, able to replicate any ability they witness and overwhelm their opponents with their combined attacks.

Meanwhile, Kazuki's younger sister Mahiro begins to suspect that her brother is hiding something from her and follows him around town. She ends up getting caught up in the battle between Kazuki and the homunculi, and must rely on her own wits to survive.

As the battle intensifies, Kazuki and Tokiko come up with a new strategy to defeat the Hayasaka twins. They realize that the twins' powers are only effective when they can observe their opponents, so they come up with a plan to blind them and take them by surprise.

In the end, Kazuki and Tokiko emerge victorious, though not without some sacrifice. The Hayasaka twins are defeated and the city is once again saved from destruction.

As the episode ends, Kazuki grapples with the consequences of his battle against the homunculi, questioning whether or not he is truly doing the right thing. Meanwhile, Tokiko begins to reveal more about her past and the mysterious organization she works for.
