Ep 2. Bring on the Bratwurst

In season 1 episode 2 of Burgers, Brew & 'Que, titled "Bring on the Bratwurst," host Michael Symon travels to Nashville, Tennessee to explore the city's take on traditional German cuisine. Symon begins his culinary journey at the popular restaurant Von Elrod's, where he meets with executive chef Jason Brumm to try their famous beer bratwurst.
Next, Symon visits the local brewery Jackalope Brewing Company to learn about the art of brewing beer and sample their unique flavors. He even gets to create his own personalized beer blend with the help of head brewer Bailey Spaulding.
After his brewery tour, Symon heads to the Butcher & Bee where he meets with chef Bryan Lee Weaver to try their take on a traditional German schnitzel sandwich. Weaver explains his passion for using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients in all of his dishes.
Symon finishes off his Nashville food tour at the restaurant The Bavarian Bierhaus, where he indulges in a giant pretzel and their signature dish - the schweinshaxe, a crispy pork shank served with sauerkraut. He even tries his luck at playing the traditional German drinking game called "Ein Prosit."
Throughout the episode, Symon cleverly incorporates his love for heavy metal music into his culinary adventures and even has the opportunity to meet with a local metal band.
