As a bachelor who has never had any experience raising a child, Daikichi finds himself struggling to keep up with Rin's needs as she adapts to her new life. From buying clothes and enrolling her in a new school to preparing meals and dealing with tantrums, Daikichi quickly realizes that parenthood is no easy feat.

Despite the challenges, Daikichi is determined to do whatever it takes to give Rin a happy life. Along the way, he receives help and advice from his friends and family, including his kindly neighbor Yukari, who has a daughter of her own.
