Ep 1. Welcome to Camp Kikiwaka

Emma, Ravi, and Zuri Ross are heading to summer camp for the very first time. While on their way, they stop at a roadside diner where Ravi's pet Asian water monitor lizard, Mr. Kipling, eats all the food. Meanwhile, back at the campgrounds, counselors Lou and Xander are hosting a scavenger hunt for the returning campers. As the new kids arrive, they are all introduced to the other campers, including the trouble-making boys, Griff and Jorge.

Emma, Ravi, and Zuri finally arrive at the campgrounds and are welcomed by camp director Gladys. However, they quickly realize that Camp Kikiwaka is not as glamorous as they thought it would be. The bathrooms are gross, the cabins are infested with spiders, and the lake is full of leeches. Despite all this, they decide to give camp a try and participate in the scavenger hunt.

During the scavenger hunt, the newcomers discover that the camp's founder, Jedediah Swearengen, had hidden a secret treasure somewhere in the woods. They soon split up into groups to explore the woods and find the treasure. Emma and Xander bond over their love for adventure and end up finding the treasure together. Meanwhile, Ravi and Zuri team up with Griff and Jorge, who turn out to be not so bad after all.

As the day comes to an end, the newcomers sit around the campfire and share stories. Emma reveals that she used to be a "rich girl" but is excited to experience camp life. Ravi talks about his pet Mr. Kipling and how he hopes to make friends at camp. Zuri shows off her fashion design skills and reveals that she wants to start her own fashion line.

The episode ends with the newcomers settling into their cabin, ready to take on the adventures of Camp Kikiwaka.
