Ep 3. Rock Around the Build

In season 4 of Building Alaska, episode 3 titled "Rock Around the Build," the builders face some of the toughest terrain yet as they work towards completing their remote cabins in the wilderness.
The episode begins with builder Jeff Erickson and his team facing a difficult challenge when they discover that the location they had chosen for their cabin is sitting on top of solid rock. With limited options available, Jeff and his team have to come up with a new plan that will allow them to build their cabin without tearing up the solid foundation.
Meanwhile, builder Adam Tschappat and his team face their own set of obstacles when they find that the only way to transport the logs they need for their cabin is by helicopter. With the weather quickly turning against them, Adam and his crew have to work fast to get the logs in place before the weather worsens.
Elsewhere, builder Lee Raymond and his crew have to figure out a way to bring the large rocks they need for their foundation up the mountain to their building site. The team must use a unique method of hauling the rocks up to the site using a winch and cable system.
As the day progresses, the builders are faced with even more challenges including dangerous winds and freezing temperatures. But through it all, they persevere and work tirelessly towards completing their remote cabins.
Overall, "Rock Around the Build" showcases the grit, determination, and ingenuity of the builders as they face some of the toughest terrain yet in their quest to build their dream homes in the Alaska wilderness.
