Buck Rogers season 1 episode 19, titled "Olympiad", follows Buck and his crew as they travel to the planet Olympia to participate in an intergalactic athletic competition. The competition, known as the Olympiad, brings together athletes from different planets to compete in various events, including the highly anticipated final race.

Upon arriving on Olympia, Buck and his crew are welcomed by its ruler, Queen Adroma, who assures them that the competition is a peaceful event and that there are no political agendas involved. Buck and Wilma, however, become suspicious when they notice that the competition is being held in a heavily guarded stadium and that the Queen's security force consists of robots.

As the events unfold, Buck and Wilma discover that the true purpose of the Olympiad is not just for athletic competition, but also for the Queen to find the ultimate athlete who can serve as the perfect bodyguard for her. The winner of the final race is to become the Queen's personal champion and protector.

Buck and Wilma decide to investigate further and soon realize that the Queen's intentions are far from peaceful. Queen Adroma is actually a rogue scientist who has developed a powerful weapon and plans to use the Olympiad as a cover to distribute it to her allies and start a war across the galaxy.

With the help of the other athletes, Buck and Wilma try to stop the Queen's evil plan. They face various obstacles, including dangerous races, physical challenges, and booby-trapped arenas. In the end, they manage to thwart the Queen's plot, but not without casualties.

As the episode comes to a close, Buck and his crew leave Olympia, having made new friends and allies but also aware of the dangers that lie ahead in their mission to restore peace and order in the galaxy.
