Ep 14. Boy Meets Squirrel

In Bubble Guppies season 1 episode 14 titled "Boy Meets Squirrel," the audience is introduced to a new character, a curious and friendly squirrel named Scratch. The Bubble Guppies, Gil, Goby, Molly, Deema, Nonny, and Oona, meet Scratch in the park and quickly become friends with him. Scratch shows the group his favorite acorn patch that he uses to gather food for the winter.

One day, while Scratch is gathering acorns, he notices that one of his favorites has gone missing. Scratch is worried about surviving the winter without this acorn. The Bubble Guppies immediately offer to help Scratch find his acorn. They split up into two teams, with Gil, Goby, and Nonny going to the park and Oona, Deema, and Molly going to the forest to search for the acorn.

Meanwhile, Scratch is feeling sad and alone without his acorn. He decides to go to a new park to see if he can find another acorn patch. While there, Scratch meets up with a new squirrel named Sandy who is gathering acorns for the winter. Sandy doesn't have time to chat with Scratch because she is too busy working, which makes Scratch even more lonely and sad.

The Bubble Guppies quickly realize that there are a lot of squirrels in the park, making their search more difficult. They use their problem-solving skills and teamwork to find Scratch's acorn. When they finally find the missing acorn, they realize that it is being guarded by a mischievous squirrel named Stu who won't let them have it.

The Bubble Guppies must figure out a way to distract Stu so they can get the acorn without getting into a squirrel fight. They come up with a plan that involves distracting Stu by playing a game of "Squirrel Says." They successfully distract Stu long enough to grab the acorn and safely return it to Scratch.

Meanwhile, Scratch realizes that his new friend Sandy is feeling the same way he did earlier, and he goes back to the first park to help her find a new acorn patch. He shows her the acorn patch that the Bubble Guppies helped him find and helps Sandy gather acorns so she is ready for winter.

In the end, the Bubble Guppies reunite with Scratch and give him back his acorn. Sandy shows up and is grateful for Scratch's help. The Bubble Guppies introduce Sandy to Scratch, and they all become friends. The episode ends with the Bubble Guppies reminding the audience that even though making new friends can be scary, it can also be fun and fulfilling.
