Meanwhile, Deema, Oona, and Goby are busy investigating footprints and matching them to the right dinosaurs. They learn about the different types of footprints and how they can be used to identify the animals that made them. They also learn about the movement patterns of different dinosaurs and how their prints give us clues about their behavior. They have fun chasing each other around and making their own footprints, but they also take their task seriously and work hard to match the prints correctly. When they are done, they bring their findings back to Mr. Grouper, who praises them for their hard work and attention to detail.

Molly's mission is to explore the different food sources of dinosaurs and how they adapted to their changing environment. She learns about the different teeth types and shapes of different dinosaurs and how they used them to eat plants, meat, or a combination of both. She also learns about the concept of extinction and how some dinosaurs were not able to adapt to changes in their environment, leading to their demise. As the episode comes to a close, the Bubble Guppies gather around Mr. Grouper, who recaps their field trip and asks them what they learned.
