Ep 7. Training Wheels and Trick Saddles

In Bringing Up Bates Season 3 Episode 7, entitled "Training Wheels and Trick Saddles," the Bates family is up to their usual shenanigans. Zach and Whitney are encouraging their oldest son Braden to ride a bike without training wheels, but the task proves to be a bit more difficult than anticipated. Meanwhile, the Bates parents, Gil and Kelly Jo, take a trip to Nashville to visit their daughter Carlin and her husband Evan.

Carlin and Evan are still newlyweds and adjusting to married life, but they decide to show Gil and Kelly Jo their new place. The couple has been working on renovating their home and they've added some beautiful touches to their backyard including a trick saddle for horseback riding. The family shares some hilarious moments trying the trick saddle out.

Back at the Bates' home, Michaella and Brandon have a surprise for their nieces and nephews. They've set up a mini carnival in the backyard, complete with games, prizes, and treats. The kids love it and everyone has a great time.

Later, the Bates family comes together to celebrate their annual "Family Fun Day." This year, the event is being hosted by Alyssa and John, who put together a series of games and activities for everyone to enjoy. There are relay races, a pie-eating contest, and even a water-balloon toss. But as always, the highlight of the day is the tug-of-war competition, with all of the siblings divided into two teams, battling it out for glory.

As the episode comes to a close, we see the Bates family having a heart-to-heart discussion about the importance of family and cherishing the moments they have together.
