In Brickleberry season 2 episode 8, "Little Boy Malloy," Ethel finally gets her chance to prove to everyone that she deserves to be a park ranger. When Woody receives a call from a nearby park that needs help with their malfunctioning fireworks, he sends Ethel and Malloy to assist.

Despite Malloy's constant teasing and belittling, Ethel remains determined to prove herself. However, things take a dangerous turn when the duo accidentally set off a massive fireworks display, causing a wildfire that threatens to destroy the neighboring park.

With the help of their new park ranger friend, they must come up with a plan to stop the fire and save the park. Meanwhile, Steve becomes obsessed with trying to capture a rare bird, even if it means risking his own life.

As the park is threatened by the fire, tensions rise and relationships are put to the test. With the fate of the park hanging in the balance, Ethel and Malloy must put their differences aside and work together to save the day.
