The episode "Saved by the Balls" is the third episode of the first season of the animated comedy series Brickleberry. The show follows a group of dysfunctional park rangers who are tasked with protecting a fictional national park called Brickleberry.
In this episode, a group of terrorists hijacks a bus full of young, attractive people on their way to a music festival. When the terrorists arrive at Brickleberry, Woody (the head ranger) and the other rangers are taken hostage. However, the terrorists have a change of heart when they see how pathetic Woody is and decide to teach him how to be a real man.
Meanwhile, Ethel (one of the park rangers) is having trouble with her self-defense training and Steve (another ranger) is trying to impress her by being her karate partner. However, Steve's lack of skill in martial arts leads to some hilarious mishaps.
Denise (another ranger) discovers that she has a hidden talent for negotiation and takes charge of trying to free the hostages. However, she may have bitten off more than she can chew when the terrorists demand a ridiculous amount of money for their release.
The episode is full of the crude humor and absurd scenarios that are typical of the Brickleberry series. While some of the jokes may be offensive to some viewers, they are delivered in a cartoonish manner that makes it difficult to take them seriously. The show is a great example of irreverent humor, and fans of Adult Swim-style animated comedies will likely find it entertaining.
