In Botched season 5 episode 1 titled "Knockers on Heaven's Door," plastic surgeons Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif continue to take on some of the most challenging and complex plastic surgery cases in the industry. The opening episode sees the duo taking on four patients, two of whom have had breast augmentations gone wrong, while the other two seek help with facial reconstructive surgeries.
The first patient is Stephanie, a young woman who is seeking a breast implant removal surgery. Stephanie had her first breast augmentation procedure at the age of 19 and has since undergone multiple revisions. With implants that are too large and incorrectly placed, she is now in severe pain, and the implants have become an impediment on her daily life. Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif work together to assess her case and plan a procedure that will restore her breasts to a more natural state without causing further harm.
The second case is that of a woman named Maggie, who seeks Dr. Nassif's help with revising a botched breast reduction surgery. Maggie, who had her original procedure done in her early 20s, now suffers from severe asymmetry and extensive scarring. The effects of the procedure on her breasts have left her feeling increasingly self-conscious and negatively affected her intimate relationships. Dr. Nassif performs a complex surgical procedure to correct the asymmetry and to minimize the scars, giving Maggie a new lease on life.
The third patient is a woman named Mary, who is seeking reconstruction surgery after surviving a brutal domestic violence attack. Mary, who suffered extensive facial injuries from the attack, has since healed, but she is left with scars that remind her of that night every day. Dr. Dubrow takes on her case, using his expertise to reconstruct her face and restore Mary's confidence.
The fourth and final case is that of a woman named Marna, who is seeking correctional surgery following facial reconstruction surgery. Marna, who suffered an accident that led to her losing her nose and upper lip, underwent surgery that left her nose severely deformed and her upper lip almost non-existent. Dr. Nassif takes on her case, using cutting-edge surgical techniques to create a new nose and to rebuild her upper lip.
Throughout the episode, Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif work tirelessly to address the complex and challenging plastic surgery cases that come their way. They help patients to regain their confidence, restore their physical form, and, in some cases, even change their lives. Through their expertise and attention to detail, these two world-renowned plastic surgeons continue to push the boundaries of what is possible, making a lasting impact on the lives of their patients.
