In season 4 episode 10 of Bondi Vet titled "Hot Dog," the show follows the daily workings of the Bondi Vet Clinic as they tackle a variety of animal health problems.

The episode starts off with Dr. Chris Brown heading out to a reptile park. He is requested to do a health check-up on a komodo dragon and also help out with two red kangaroos who are having trouble with their teeth. Dr. Brown does the check-up on the komodo dragon with ease. However, the red kangaroos prove to be difficult to handle as they fight back by kicking and biting while Dr.Brown tries to reach their mouth to diagnose the problem.

Back at the clinic, the staff is dealing with another tooth problem. A six-year-old Border Collie has a painful tooth but is reluctant to let any of the staff members take a look. The staff has to take it slow and connect with the dog before they can perform any dental work.

Meanwhile, an eleven-month-old Jack Russell Terrier, Pepe is brought in with his owner due to a sudden bout of seizures. Dr. Lisa Chimes diagnoses that Pepe has Idiopathic Epilepsy, which causes seizures without any obvious cause. She prescribes medication and advises the owner to keep an eye on the dog.

While dealing with the above cases, the staff gets a call for an emergency at the South Head National Park. Chris rushes to the location to attend to an injured Australian fur seal. Upon arrival, he finds the seal too weak to move. He diagnoses that the seal has an injury on its jaw, which has caused extreme swelling, making it difficult for the seal to move its mouth and feed. Chris does his best to wrap and immobilize the seal before transporting it back to the clinic.

At the Bondi Vet Clinic, Dr. Chris and Dr. Lisa work together to help the injured seal. They use a CT scan to see the extent of its injuries. They also try to identify the cause of the seal’s injuries, which could be from boat propellers or physical trauma. The team ultimately identifies the injury as a result of a discarded fishing line that had become wrapped around the seal’s neck, causing an abscess. Dr. Chris and Dr. Lisa work together to remove the fishing line. They provide the seal with antibiotics and painkillers to help with its healing.

The final case of the episode takes place at the clinic itself. A twelve-year-old pug named Angel has an unusual case of meningitis. The staff has to act quickly before the infection causes irreversible damage. The team is able to diagnose Angel's problem and treat her using medication.

In this episode, the Bondi Vet Clinic deals with a wide variety of animals and cases ranging from reptiles, seals, kangaroos, and dogs. The staff's expertise, patience, and dedication towards the welfare of the animals are showcased throughout the episode. Viewers can see how the staff deals with different situations, makes connections with the animals they work with, and help in making a difference.
