Bomberman Jetters is a Japanese anime television series that aired from 2002 to 2003. The show follows the adventures of White Bomber, also known as Shirobon, and his team of Jetters as they fight against the evil Hige Hige Bandits to protect the galaxy. When Pui, an animal who looks just like Rui comes to Planet Bomber, he says he wants to become White Bomber's apprentice! So, since White Bomber lost to Rui at a video game, he's Rui's apprentice for the day. Rui and Pui go head-to-head in three battles to see who will be his apprentice. The third battle is a race, and during it, White Bomber sees a strange man in a coat watching from an alley. White Bomber approaches him, and the man runs, but drops his wallet. So, White Bomber chases after him. They have a talk, and he finds out the man's name is Daibon, and that he his Pui's master. Pui ran away because he said he found a Bomberman who couldn't even throw Fire Bombs was pathetic. Daibon wants Rui back, and White Bomber comes up with a plan to have Pui go back to him. When they are about to go through with the plan, White Bomber gets afraid that Rui might think he's pathetic, and starts to freak out. When Dr. Ein makes Birdy clean one of the Jetterz' ships, he has a flashback as to why nobody uses the ship anymore. In the flashback, Mighty decides instead of stopping the Higehige-dan and getting back the unique flower-scented natto, to let them float and track them down to their HQ, where they can take back all of the stolen items from the Higehige-dan. But, when Mighty and Birdy get into their HQ, they meet Misty. Misty and Mighty fall into a booby trap which sends them into the basement, while Birdy gets away. In the basement, Mighty gives Misty back her Jetterz badge, which she lost earlier, and asks her to join the Jetterz. But, before she can say anything, Mujoe starts to self-destruct the HQ, which is actually a giant battleship! Will Mighty and Misty get out in time, or will they be caught in the explosion?

So, the Jetterz have to go find an oasis in the Rekoreko desert with the fruit of a unique cough drop tree to get the object out of King Kingo's throat. But, there are a few problems. To get to the oasis, the Jetterz must past Sandstorm Hill, and find this wandering oasis. The Jetterz set out to find the unique item, but run into the Higehige-dan on the way. Can the Jetterz get past the Higehige-dan and save Dondonpa Planet?

When Birdy says he's tired of the usual Raman, the Jetterz go to get some more. When they arrive on the planet, a gigantic cat attacks and takes Shout with her.Then, White Bomber goes to rescue Shout. When he gets to the house where Shout is, he finds out that the cat is sick, and Shout is trying to find out what was wrong. White Bomber throws a Pepper Bomb, and the cat spits out Mujyou! So, Mujyou uses the "Super Combined Bomberman Making Machine" to turn the cat in Cat Rinrin Bomber. Will White Bomber find a plan to return Cat Rinrin Bomber to its original form, and will the Jetterz get the only bell of it's kind in the universe back?

When a big snowfall makes everybody but Birdy and Rui sick, they both have to guard the trumpet from Swing Planet by themselves, and that means Birdy has to learn what Rui is saying! But it's more trouble than they think when Mujyou has been reinstated and given the New Super Combined Bomberman Making Machine. With it, Mujoe makes Super Combined Bomberman No. 1, Wanigeta Bomber. Wanigeta Bomber is more than Birdy and Rui can handle. Will the Higehige-dan and the newly resigned commander Mujoe get away with the trumpet, or will the Jetterz stop them?

When Dr. Iein calls the Jetterz over to his birthday party, Gangu wonders about when his birthday is. Since nobody knows, White Bomber asks who Gangu's creator is, and Dr. Iein says it was him. So, Dr. Iein tells the story of how Gangu was created to everyone but Birdy, who left. It turns out that Bagura had a robot named "Labrador X", who stole all the unique items in the universe. So, Dr. Iein tried to stop him, but never could because Bagura had a giant robot. Dr. Iein's assistant, Grandma Bomber, inspired Iein to make a robot, but he had no money at the bank, so he had to give up. When he tells Grandma Bomber, she gets mad and starts throwing bombs at him, until he says he understands, and will make a robot. That robot turns out to Gangu! Gangu kept on stopping the enemy robot, and in the process, love blossomed between the two. But when Bagura realizes it, he makes Labrador X defeat Gangu. So what will happen between the two lovers?
