The episode takes place on a Sunday morning as Bluey and her little sister Bingo excitedly ask their father, Bandit, to prepare his famous omelettes for breakfast. As Bandit prepares to make the omelettes, the girls watch him with awe, and Bluey decides that she wants to make her own omelette for herself. Her father is supportive and helps her choose her ingredients.
Bluey enlists the help of her friends to gather ingredients from the family garden, and they come across some challenges. Rusty, Bluey's friend, doesn't know what parsley looks like, and they need it for the omelette. After heading to the garden, Bluey realizes that the parsley is gone. As they search for parsley, they get sidetracked with playing in the garden, and Bingo falls over and scrapes her knee.
Once they return to the kitchen, Bluey prepares the ingredients for her omelette. When it comes time to crack the eggs, Bluey realizes that she has forgotten what her dad taught her about cracking eggs. When she tries to crack the egg, it spills all over her. Her dad helps her to clean up, and they try again. This next time, Bluey cracks the egg perfectly, but then she accidentally drops a piece of eggshell into the bowl. Her father shows her how to remove the shell.
As Bluey cooks her omelette, she is proud of herself and her accomplishment. However, when she goes to flip the omelette, it falls apart, which makes her feel disappointed. Her father comforts her and tells her that it's okay to make mistakes and that it takes time to learn new skills. Bluey decides to try again, and this time, she succeeds!
The episode ends with Bluey and her friends enjoying their delicious omelettes—all except for Bingo, who doesn't like egg and has instead made herself some toast.
