Bluey season 1 episode 21, titled "Blue Mountains," is a heartwarming and adventurous episode that follows Bluey and her family on a camping trip to the Blue Mountains. The episode starts with the family packing up and getting ready for their trip, with the children excitedly choosing which toys to bring along. They set out on their journey, singing songs and playing games in the car.
When they arrive at their campsite, they unload their supplies and set up their tents. Bluey is thrilled to be in the great outdoors and can't wait to explore. While her parents set up their campsite, Bluey teams up with her sister Bingo and their friend Mackenzie to go on a nature hike. They quickly discover a beautiful waterfall and decide to climb to the top. The climb is steep and challenging, but Bluey is determined to make it to the top. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles, like slippery rocks and steep inclines, but they work together to overcome them.
Once they reach the top, they are rewarded with an incredible view of the valley below. Bluey takes a deep breath of fresh air and revels in the beauty of the Blue Mountains. They eat their lunch, play games, and have a fun time together. But as the day wears on, they realize they've forgotten something important: toilet paper.
Bluey's dad volunteers to go to the nearest store to buy some more, but the rest of the group stays behind. As they wait, they start to hear strange noises coming from the nearby forest. Mackenzie is scared and wants to leave, but Bluey comes up with a plan to investigate the noise. The group gathers up sticks and rocks and follows the sound until they come across a mother possum and her babies. They're relieved to find that the noise was nothing to be scared of.
As they walk back to their campsite, they hear a loud clap of thunder in the distance. They hurry back and find that a storm is approaching. They race to pack up their supplies and take down their tents before the rain hits. The family huddles together under a big tarp to wait out the storm. Bluey's dad tells stories to keep them entertained, and they all sing songs to pass the time.
Eventually, the storm passes, and they assess the damage. Though some of their supplies got wet, they are relieved that everyone is safe and sound. As they pack up their car to head home, Bluey reflects on their trip. She's grateful for the time they spent together as a family, and she can't wait to come back to the Blue Mountains again.
