Ep 30. Cafe Blue

In season 3 episode 30 of Blue's Clues, titled Cafe Blue, Steve and Blue get ready to open a pretend cafe. The episode starts with Steve introducing the idea of a cafe to Blue and the viewers. Next, Slippery Soap rolls in and begs for a drink of apple juice. Steve pours him a cup and remarks that his unique style of slithering wouldn't make it easy for him to drink from the cup.

The rest of Steve's friends show up to the cafe one by one, asking for snacks and drinks. Steve takes their orders and offers them the snacks he and Blue have prepared. As the customers enjoy their snacks and chat amongst themselves, they ask Steve and Blue to join them. However, Steve and Blue cannot join them because they are pretend kitchen workers.

As the customers finish their snacks, they offer to pay, but they do not have any money since they were just pretending to eat at a cafe. Instead, they offer to help Steve and Blue wash the dishes and clean up after the meal. Together, they all work to clean and put away everything from the table, cups, plates to leftover food. The clean-up finishes just in time before Steve's imaginary cafe closes.

At the end of the episode, Steve and Blue sit at one of the tables they used and talk about their pretend cafe. They discuss how much fun they had and how everyone worked together to make it a success. Steve concludes that it was a wonderful day for everyone, and Blue agrees.
