Ep 19. Mystery of the Missing Pies

Steve and Blue continue investigating, checking with various neighbors and looking for more clues. They find some more crumbs, a suspicious footprint, and a broken rake handle in Mrs. Marigold's garden. However, none of these clues seem to lead anywhere.

Just as Steve and Blue are getting frustrated, they get a call from Shovel, who says that he knows something about the missing pies. He tells Steve and Blue to meet him at the fairgrounds, where he has a surprise for them.

When Steve and Blue arrive at the fairgrounds, they see a big sign that says "PIE EATING CONTEST." Shovel explains that he found out about the contest and decided to enter. He ate all of Steve's pies in order to practice for the contest, but he didn't mean to cause any harm. He apologizes, and Steve forgives him.

The pie fair goes on as scheduled, with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper winning first prize for their apple pie. Steve and Blue have a great time, and Steve learns that sometimes things aren't always what they seem.
