Ep 1. It's Called Hazing, Look It Up

Blue Mountain State is a television comedy series that follows the life of three freshmen football players at a fictional college campus in the United States. Thad is the polar opposite of Alex, the complete embodiment of the jock stereotype. He is arrogant, vain, and obsessed with winning at all costs.

Thad agrees to help Alex, but only if Alex convinces freshman quarterback, Radon Randell (Page Kennedy) to shave his head. Radon has a large afro and is highly protective of it, but Alex manages to convince him to go through with the haircut.

Throughout the episode, the show also gives audiences a glimpse into the personal lives of the characters, including Alex's rocky relationship with his girlfriend, Sammy's quest to lose his virginity, and Craig's struggle to maintain his scholarship while juggling his studies and his partying habits.

The episode culminates in the football team's season opener, where Alex is unexpectedly thrust into the starting lineup due to the starting quarterback's injury. Despite his lack of preparation, Alex manages to lead the team to a thrilling victory in the closing moments of the game.
