In Blue Heelers season 1, episode 4 titled "Wives," the small Australian town of Mt. Thomas is rocked by a series of events involving the wives of some of its prominent citizens.

When Wayne's wife becomes unexpectedly pregnant, he must face the reality that his desire for a successful career may come at a cost to his family.
As the officers delve deeper into the case, they uncover a variety of motives for the affairs and the murder. Some characters are driven by love, while others are motivated by greed or revenge. Throughout the episode, the officers must navigate the complicated relationships and personal struggles of those involved in order to solve the crime.
