Ep 8. Oasis

In Blue Gender season 1 episode 8, titled "Oasis," the Blue have overtaken the crew's spaceship, leaving Yuji, Marlene, Tony, and Alicia stranded on the desert planet, Earth. The group journeys through the barren wasteland in search of a water source, which they find in a small village run by a group of women.

The women of the village welcome the group warmly, providing them with shelter and food. However, the group soon discovers that the village is under attack by the Blue. Marlene and Yuji attempt to fight off the Blue, but they quickly realize that their weapons have no effect on them. The women of the village reveal that they have been using a powerful electromagnetic field to keep the Blue at bay, but that the field requires a large amount of energy to maintain.

The group decides to help the women defend the village against the attacking Blue. They discover that the Blue are attracted to sources of energy, and they use this knowledge to create a trap for the creatures. The group also finds a power source that can help the village maintain their electromagnetic field. However, they soon discover that the power source is guarded by a massive Blue creature that they must defeat in order to retrieve it.

As they battle the creature, Yuji begins to have visions of his past. He remembers his life before being put into cryogenic sleep, and the tragic events that led to the collapse of human civilization. The memories shake Yuji to his core and leave him questioning his place in the world.

After defeating the massive Blue creature, the group returns to the village with the power source. They help the women activate the electromagnetic field, which successfully repels the attacking Blue. The women of the village thank the group for their help and invite them to stay.

As the group prepares to settle into the village, Yuji reflects on the memories he has recovered and on his purpose in the world. Meanwhile, Marlene expresses her concerns about their mission and the danger that surrounds them. The episode ends with the group taking a moment to enjoy the newfound peace of the village, before heading out on their next adventure.
