Ep 5. A Boy from the Cursed Temple

Rin and his classmates take a field trip to Kyoto, where they are joined by Yukio, who is investigating a series of murders that seem to be connected to demons. While exploring a temple, Rin and his friends meet a young boy named Ryuji, who is a member of the Myoda sect, a group of exorcists sworn to destroy demons. Ryuji is initially hostile towards Rin, but they eventually bond over their shared passion for exorcism.

The group then receives a distress call from Yukio, who has been attacked by a demon. Rin and Ryuji rush to his aid, and together they manage to defeat the demon and save Yukio. However, the Myoda sect arrives on the scene and accuses Rin of being a demon spy, based on his demon horns. Rin tries to explain that he is a half-demon who is trying to become an exorcist, but the sect refuses to listen and prepares to attack him.

In the midst of the ensuing battle, Rin discovers that the Myoda sect has been working with demons all along, and that their true goal is to summon Satan himself. Shocked and appalled, Rin decides to put a stop to their plans, even if it means risking his own life. With the help of his friends and Yukio, Rin fights off the demon exorcists and manages to destroy the summoning ritual.

In the aftermath of the battle, Rin and Ryuji come to an understanding, and Rin is able to see the value of his own unique abilities. As they prepare to return to True Cross Academy, Rin vows to become a powerful exorcist and use his powers for good, no matter what obstacles lie in his path.
