Ep 21. Above and Beyond

Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) receives a call that a police officer from another precinct has been shot. He orders all available officers to aid in the search for the shooter. Erin (Bridget Moynahan) takes a case to court that she inherited from her predecessor, involving a man who is accused of cutting brake lines to a car, causing an accident that resulted in a fatality. However, Erin begins to question whether her predecessor mishandled the case, potentially putting an innocent man behind bars. Meanwhile, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) investigate a case involving a wealthy woman who claims she was attacked by someone who broke into her home, but the evidence seems to point to something more suspicious. Finally, Jamie (Will Estes) helps a friend who is being harassed and blackmailed, but soon realizes that his friend may be covering up something even more serious. All of these cases test the limits of the Reagan family’s commitment to justice.
