Ep 3. Behind The Smile

In the Blue Bloods season 10 episode 3, titled "Behind The Smile," the Reagan family continue to uphold the law in New York City. This time around, the episode shines a spotlight on Erin (Bridget Moynahan) as she struggles to protect a witness in a case against known gang members.

Erin, the Assistant District Attorney, is paired up with detective Anthony Abetemarco (Steve Schirripa) as they work together to bring justice to the victim of a drive-by shooting. The victim was an innocent bystander, caught in the crossfire between rival gangs. Erin is determined to bring those responsible to justice but is met with roadblocks and lack of cooperation from the victim's community.

Moreover, Erin has to face a bigger problem when she discovers that the witness in the case is hiding something from her. With more than the case on the line, Erin must decide whether to risk everything she's worked for to protect the witness or change her course of action to ensure justice is served.

Meanwhile, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) works on a case involving an attacked woman who claims she was mistakenly targeted by someone else. As part of his investigations into the matter, Danny discovers that the victim is hiding a dark secret that may have led to the incident.

Plus, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), the Police Commissioner, has his own problems to deal with. He is caught between two departments, as both are blaming each other for a high-speed chase that led to an innocent bystander's injury. Frank must uncover the truth, determine the guilty party and make a tough decision that may put him at odds with his colleagues.

Moreover, Jamie Reagan (Will Estes), the youngest Reagan sibling, receives some unexpected news after discovering shocking information about his colleague. He must decide whether to share it with his supervisor or keep it to himself, which could have consequences on his career and relationship with his colleague.

The episode "Behind The Smile" highlights the daily struggles and challenges faced by the Reagan family, as they try to uphold the law while also balancing their personal lives. From protecting witness to making tough decisions, the Reagan family's loyalty and dedication to their work and each other are visibly apparent throughout the series.
