Ep 7. Children of Auron

The Crew of the Liberator lands on a beautiful planet, Auron, to rescue a group of survivors. The survivors on Auron, whom the crew is rescuing, are all children known as the Children of Auron. Their community has been wiped out by a virus, leaving only the children as survivors. The planet has no more dangerous diseases and is heralded as a utopia.

The crew, led by the savage Space Commander Travis, also lands on Auron and tries to destroy the crew of the Liberator and take the Children of Auron. However, the crew of the Liberator is successful in fighting off Space Commander Travis and his men.

The leader of the Children of Auron, Cally, welcomes the crew of the Liberator and shows them the secret of Auron - a special telepathic ability that enables them to combat diseases. She asks Avon and Tarrant to take the Children of Auron to a place where they can start a new community without any threats.

The crew of the Liberator takes the Children of Auron to Xenon, a planet that is similar to Auron. However, upon their arrival, they learn that the planet is hostile, and the only place where they can settle in safety is a dead desert called Ultraworld.

The crew of the Liberator digs in and starts prepping Ultraworld for the Children of Auron. This leads them to discover that Ultraworld is, in fact, a giant spaceship that sucks in ships and their crews, taking them through the ship's computer assimilating their memories and knowledge, thereby making them a part of it.

The crew of the Liberator decodes Ultraworld's defenses and gains access to the heart of the ship to cause a controlled overload, shutting down the system that would otherwise conquer the planet. Once the spaceship is shut down, the crew of the Liberator successfully transports the Children of Auron to the planet and helps them settle in.

As they say their goodbyes to children, a group approaches the crew of the Liberator. They turn out to be the parents of the Children of Auron, who were thought to have died from the virus that wiped out the community of Auron. The telepathic ability of the Children of Auron had activated post the contagion, shielding the children from the virus, which allowed them to continue living.

Avon and Tarrant, the two members of the Liberator, then leave Xenon to meet up with the rest of their crew.

The episode "Children of Auron" explores the themes of safety, sacrifice, and the lengths people go to protect their loved ones. The Children of Auron were protected by their telepathic abilities and by the crew of the Liberator, who put their own safety at risk to help them. In the end, the children were reunited with their parents, and the crew of the Liberator carried on their mission.
