In the Season 2 Episode 10 of Black-ish titled "Stuff", the Johnson family realizes that they have accumulated way too much stuff over the years. As they prepare to celebrate Christmas, Dre and Bow decide that it's time for some serious de-cluttering. However, they soon realize that getting rid of stuff isn't as easy as it seems, especially when each item comes with its own sentimental value.
As they sort through all the clutter, the Johnsons take a trip down memory lane, recalling the special moments that each item represents. While Dre wants to get rid of everything and start fresh, Bow is more sentimental and has a hard time letting go.
Meanwhile, the kids are also struggling with the idea of letting go of their old toys and clothes. Junior is nostalgic for his childhood and finds it hard to part with his old toys, while Zoey is trying to let go of her goth phase but can't seem to part with her dark clothes.
As the family shares memories and debates what to keep and what to toss, they start to realize that it's not the stuff that matters, but the memories and experiences that come with them. With that realization, they come up with a creative solution to keep the memories alive without cluttering their home with unnecessary stuff.
In addition to the de-cluttering storyline, the episode also features some hilarious moments, including Dre and Bow's attempts to sell their unwanted items online and the kids' reactions to some of their old outfits.
Overall, "Stuff" is a heartwarming and funny episode that explores the importance of memories and family, and the idea that sometimes less really is more.
