In Black Ink Crew season 9 episode 8, titled "It's Better When a Woman is in Charge," the ladies of the crew take center stage as they show their strength and skills in the male-dominated tattoo industry.
First, Sky takes on a new role as the manager of the 113th shop and faces challenges as she tries to balance her responsibilities as a boss and her personal life. Meanwhile, Donna struggles to accept the fact that her former flame Moe is dating someone new, and Tati tries to redeem herself after her recent embarrassments by planning a photoshoot for the crew.
Amidst the personal drama, the crew also faces professional pressure as they work on challenging tattoos. Ceaser and Ted work together on a tribute tattoo for a fallen rapper, but tensions rise as they struggle to come up with a design that honors the musician's legacy. Krystal, the newest addition to the Black Ink family, also faces a tough test as she takes on a client who wants a tattoo in a sensitive area.
Throughout the episode, the women of Black Ink Crew prove that they are just as talented and capable as their male counterparts, and that it's truly better when a woman is in charge. As they navigate love, work, and friendship, they uplift each other and show the world that they are a force to be reckoned with.
