The second episode of the eighth season of Black Ink Crew is titled "De-wigged." The episode centers around the drama surrounding Tati's wig. The episode starts with Tati walking into Black Ink ready to confront her co-workers. She feels as though things have changed between her and the crew since her altercation with Krystal.
After Tati takes a seat, Donna and Alex get into a heated debate about tattoos. But, their conversation is interrupted when Tati announces that she needs to make a statement. She tells the group that she's tired of the tension between her and the crew, and she wants to address it head-on. Tati then explains that she took off her wig in the previous episode because it was hot, and she hadn't had the chance to get her hair done. However, she felt judged by her co-workers, especially Sky.
Sky, on the other hand, clarifies that she wasn't judging Tati for not having her hair done. She merely found it strange that Tati brought her wig to the gym and couldn't understand why she would wear it while working out. Once Tati and Sky clear things up, the conversation moves on to Donna's tattooing skills.
Later on, Ceaser asks Sky to help him with his new business venture, a sneaker boutique. Sky is excited to be a part of Ceaser's new project but is also apprehensive. She doesn't want to be stuck behind a desk working with numbers all day. After some encouragement from Ceaser, Sky agrees to help him out.
As the day goes on, tensions continue to rise between Tati and Krystal. Krystal feels as though Tati is trying to take over her role as the new girl in the shop. She also believes that Tati has a problem with her because she's younger. Tati then confronts Krystal, and the two get into a shouting match, forcing the other crew members to intervene.
The episode ends on a somber note with Donna receiving alarming news about her health. Donna is visibly upset, and her co-workers do their best to comfort her. The episode ends with fans wondering what's wrong with Donna and what her future holds.
"De-wigged" is an episode that deals with a lot of tension and unresolved conflicts. Tati and Krystal's argument takes center stage, but the episode also explores the relationships between the rest of the crew. Additionally, the introduction of Ceaser's new business venture and Donna's health scare keep things interesting and leave fans wanting more.
