As the tattoo artists of Black Ink Crew continue to deal with the challenges of running a business, tensions run high in season 8 episode 13, Basic And Predictable.
The episode begins with Donna, the shop's resident prankster, playing yet another joke on her coworkers. However, when she takes things too far and violates a sacred tattooing tradition, her actions ignite a heated argument among the crew.
Meanwhile, Ceaser is dealing with his own problems - one of the shop's most problematic employees is threatening to quit, leaving Ceaser to scramble to find a way to keep him on board.
As the day goes on, the tensions in the shop continue to rise, leading to some explosive confrontations. Tati and Walt clash over a long-standing issue, and seemingly everyone is at their wit's end.
But amidst all the drama and conflict, the tattoo artists of Black Ink Crew show that they're ultimately a family, banding together to deal with their problems and support each other.
Basic And Predictable is a fitting title for this episode, as it highlights the ups and downs of running a tattoo shop - the boring and mundane moments as well as the exciting and chaotic ones. It's also a reminder that even in the toughest moments, the Black Ink Crew can rely on each other to get through it all.
