In the episode "Glenda" of Black Ink Crew Chicago season 6, tensions rise as the crew deals with drama both in and out of the shop. The episode opens with Don and Phor meeting up to discuss the status of their friendships with the other members of the crew. Don expresses frustration with Charmaine, claiming that he feels like she doesn't have his back and is always stirring up drama. Phor, on the other hand, is struggling to reconcile with his girlfriend Nikki after cheating on her with a stripper.
At the shop, the crew is busy preparing for a big event: the opening of their new 9MAG location. Ryan is feeling the pressure to make the event a success and is concerned about how the new shop will be received by their clients. Meanwhile, Charmaine is still dealing with the fallout from her failed engagement and is struggling to find her place within the group. She decides to take matters into her own hands and throws a surprise party for the crew to boost morale and show them that she's still a valuable member of the team.
As the night wears on, tempers flare when Don and Charmaine get into a heated argument. Don accuses Charmaine of always causing drama and tells her that he's tired of her putting her personal issues ahead of the success of the shop. Charmaine is hurt by Don's words and storms out of the party, leaving the rest of the crew to pick up the pieces.
Meanwhile, Phor is still trying to make things right with Nikki. He takes her out for a romantic dinner and confesses his love for her, but she's hesitant to forgive him for his past mistakes. The two of them have a heart-to-heart conversation about their relationship and the challenges that they face.
Back at the shop, Ryan is dealing with his own set of issues. He's concerned about the new shop's location and worries that it's too far away from their existing client base. He confides in Van, who suggests that they throw a block party in order to bring in new customers and generate buzz around the new location.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Glenda, a mysterious woman from Ryan's past, shows up at the party and leaves everyone wondering what her presence means for the crew's future. As tensions continue to rise, it's clear that the Black Ink Crew Chicago is in for a wild ride this season.
