Black Ink Crew: Chicago is a reality TV series following the lives of artists at 9MAG, a tattoo studio located in the heart of Chicago. This season, fans can expect more drama, controversy, and of course, beautiful tattoos. In episode 3 of season 4, titled "Tom, Dick, And Cobra" the crew is back in action as they work on new clients and handle internal conflicts.
The episode kicks off with new employee, Cobra, having some trouble fitting in with the rest of the crew. Being the only female artist at 9MAG, she feels isolated and disrespected by some of her colleagues. Things heat up when Cobra and Ryan, the owner of 9MAG, have a heated argument about her efficiency and work ethic. Despite the tension, both artists are tasked with working on a joint client, which causes some awkwardness in the studio.
Meanwhile, Charmaine, the shop manager, has a big surprise for the crew. She announces that she has invited her father to the shop, who also happens to be a tattoo artist. Her father, known as Tom, is a veteran in the industry and has worked with some of the biggest names in the game. The crew is surprised and excited to meet Tom, as they recognize his talent and experience.
Tom's arrival causes a bit of discomfort for Ryan, who feels like Charmaine is trying to make her father a permanent fixture in the shop. Ryan feels like he is losing control of his business and strongly disagrees with the idea. Nevertheless, Tom continues to work alongside the crew and proves his worth with his impressive tattoo skills.
In addition to all the drama, 9MAG also has new clients coming in, including a rapper named Lil Bibby. The crew is excited to work with such a high-profile client and makes sure to put their best foot forward. However, things take a turn when Phor, one of the senior artists, suddenly falls ill and cannot complete the tattoo. This leads to a frantic search for another artist who can finish the job in time.
As the episode comes to a close, viewers are left with a cliffhanger as Cobra takes matters into her own hands and confronts Ryan about her position in the shop. The rest of the crew is left wondering if Cobra will quit or be fired, while Ryan struggles to maintain control of his business amidst all the turmoil.
Overall, this episode of Black Ink Crew: Chicago is full of drama, conflict, and surprising twists. Fans of the series will not be disappointed as they witness the artists handle difficult situations both in and out of the shop.
