As the title of the episode "I'm the New You" suggests, season 4 episode 15 of Black Ink Crew: Chicago is all about change and new beginnings. The episode begins with the crew dealing with the fallout from Ryan's decision to fire everyone and start from scratch. The remaining members of 9Mag are still coming to terms with the fact that they no longer have a job and are unsure of what the future holds for them.
To make matters worse, Ryan has started expanding his brand and has opened up a new shop called "Loyal Ink" just down the street from 9Mag. This creates a bit of tension between the two shops as they try to establish their own unique identities and steal clients from one another.
Meanwhile, Charmaine is dealing with a lot of personal drama outside of work. Her mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and Charmaine is struggling to cope with the news. She decides to take some time off from Loyal Ink to spend with her family and be there for her mother during this difficult time.
As Charmaine is dealing with her own issues, the rest of the crew at Loyal Ink must figure out how to move forward without her. In particular, Phor is struggling to find his place in the new shop and is having trouble fitting in with the rest of the crew. He decides to try and make some changes to his image and appearance in an effort to reinvent himself and become a better artist.
The episode also features a visit from Kitty, who is a former member of Black Ink Crew: New York and has recently been fired from her job as a receptionist at Caesar's shop. She comes to Chicago to see if Ryan can help her out and give her a job at Loyal Ink. However, her visit doesn't exactly go as planned and she ends up causing a bit of drama between the two shops.
Overall, "I'm the New You" is a poignant episode of Black Ink Crew: Chicago that explores the theme of change and new beginnings. As the crew navigates through various personal and professional challenges, they learn that sometimes the only way to move forward is to embrace the unknown and trust in the future.
