Ep 18. Memories of You

In episode 18 of season 1 of Black Clover, titled "Memories of You," Asta and Yuno are finally given the opportunity to go on their first mission as Magic Knights together. They are assigned to investigate a wealthy merchant's mansion where a powerful magical stone is rumored to be kept.

As they arrive at the mansion, they are greeted by its owner, who seems to know something about Asta and his abilities that he shouldn't. The owner mentions that he had met Asta's mother before and that she had left a strong impression on him. This causes Asta to reflect on his past and wonder about his mother, whom he has no memory of.

As they continue to search for the magical stone, they encounter some unexpected obstacles. In particular, they come across a group of thieves who have the ability to use magic that is similar to Asta's anti-magic abilities. This puts Asta in a difficult situation, as he has never faced opponents who can nullify magic before.

Meanwhile, Yuno begins to uncover some information about the owner of the mansion and his connection to the magical stone. He learns that the merchant had acquired the stone from a powerful sorcerer who had used it for dark purposes. The sorcerer had been defeated by the Magic Knights long ago, and the stone was thought to have been destroyed.

As Yuno shares this information with Asta, they realize that the stone they are searching for is not only dangerous, but also linked to Asta's past. They decide to confront the owner and demand the truth about the stone.

In the ensuing confrontation, Asta and Yuno face off against the owner and his minions. Asta is able to use his anti-magic abilities to overcome the thieves' magic, and Yuno uses his wind magic to support Asta. Together, they make their way to the heart of the mansion, where they find the magical stone.

As they attempt to destroy the stone, the owner reveals that he had also known Asta's mother and that she had left behind a message for Asta. She had told the owner to take care of Asta and to tell him that she loved him. This emotional revelation gives Asta the strength he needs to destroy the stone once and for all.

The episode ends with Asta and Yuno returning to the capital, having completed their mission successfully. Asta is left with a new sense of purpose, knowing that his mother had loved him and that he must continue to fight for those he cares about.
