The episode opens with a scene of chaos, as we see a group of men frantically running through a forest, pursued by a terrifying creature with razor-sharp claws. The creature is none other than Sebastian, who has inexplicably turned on his own master.
From there, the story flashes back to a few weeks earlier, when Ciel and Sebastian are attending a party at the home of a wealthy nobleman. Things take a dark turn when the guests are suddenly attacked by a gang of masked kidnappers. Ciel and Sebastian manage to fight off the attackers and rescue their host, but not before one of the kidnappers manages to slip away.
As Ciel and Sebastian investigate the incident, they uncover a conspiracy involving a secret society known as the "Noah's Ark Circus." The circus is run by a group of mysterious figures, each with a unique talent and a dark secret. Ciel and Sebastian soon realize that the circus is connected to the kidnapping and that they must infiltrate the group in order to rescue the remaining victims.
The remainder of the episode follows our intrepid heroes as they delve deeper into the world of the Noah's Ark Circus.
