In the fourth episode of the tenth season of Bizarre Foods, host Andrew Zimmern takes us on a culinary journey through Queens, New York. Known as one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the world, Queens is home to a wide variety of cuisines influenced by immigrants from around the globe.

Andrew starts off at the famed Jackson Heights neighborhood, where he visits a Colombian bakery and indulges in sweet pastries like bunuelos and empanadas. He then visits a nearby Ecuadorian restaurant where he tries a traditional soup made with guinea pig, a staple in Ecuadorian cuisine.

Next, Andrew travels to Little India in Jackson Heights, where he samples some of the best Indian street food in the city. He tries a popular snack called kachori, which is a deep-fried pastry filled with peas and spices. He also indulges in a classic Indian dish called thali, which is a platter of various items like rice, curry, and naan.

Andrew then heads to the Corona neighborhood to try some Mexican cuisine. He visits a taco truck where he tries unique tacos like al pastor, which is marinated pork cooked on a spit, and lengua, which is beef tongue. He also visits a Mexican bakery where he samples some sweet pastries like conchas and tres leches cake.

Moving on, Andrew visits the Flushing neighborhood, which is home to a large Chinese community. He goes to a traditional Chinese dumpling house and tries various dumplings like pork and crab and soup dumplings. He also visits a street vendor who specializes in hand-pulled noodles, a technique that requires a lot of skill and expertise.

Finally, Andrew heads to the Astoria neighborhood, which is home to a large Greek community. He visits a Greek restaurant and tries various Greek dishes like moussaka, which is a layered eggplant dish with ground beef and béchamel sauce. He also tries a classic Greek dessert called baklava, which is a sweet pastry made with phyllo dough, nuts, and honey.

Throughout the episode, Andrew also meets and interviews various immigrants who have brought their unique cuisines to Queens. He learns about their cultures and histories and how they have adapted their cuisines to the United States.
