Bite Me is a comedy web series created by the entertainment company, Lionsgate. It originally aired from 2010 to 2012 and stars Yousef Abu-Taleb, Ryan Patrick Welsh, and Justin Giddings. The show follows three unlikely heroes, Jack (Abu-Taleb), Harrison (Welsh), and Dan (Giddings), as they navigate their way through a world overrun by zombies. Jack is a slacker who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and ends up becoming one of the undead. However, he manages to avoid being completely transformed and retains his human abilities. Harrison is a straight-laced journalist who teams up with Jack to document the zombie outbreak. Lastly, Dan is a wimpy pharmaceutical salesman who joins the group in hopes of finding a cure for the disease.

Together, the trio fights their way through hordes of zombies while trying to stay alive and find a way to stop the outbreak. Along the way, they encounter a variety of characters, both human and zombie, who add humor and depth to the series.

One of the unique features of Bite Me is its use of interactive storytelling. The show utilizes social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook, to engage with its audience and allow them to shape the direction of the story. Fans could use specific hashtags to suggest plot twists or character actions, and the writers would implement these ideas into the show.

Bite Me also includes elements of satire and parody. The show pokes fun at various zombie tropes and cliches, such as slow-moving walkers and the idea of a "zombie apocalypse." It also parodies other popular genres, like spy movies and reality TV shows.

Despite being a low-budget web series, Bite Me features impressive production value. The special effects and makeup used to create the zombies are particularly noteworthy, adding a level of realism to the show's otherwise humorous tone.

Overall, Bite Me is a fun and entertaining series that offers a fresh take on the zombie genre. Its use of interactive storytelling and clever satire makes it stand out from other shows in its category. While it only lasted for two seasons, it has amassed a dedicated fan following and remains a popular cult classic.

Bite Me is a series that ran for 2 seasons (24 episodes) between December 2, 2010 and on Lionsgate
