In "Big Time Cartoon," the 10th episode of the fourth season of Big Time Rush, the boys are ecstatic to have their own animated series, but things take a turn when their cartoon selves start to become more popular than they are. The guys start to feel overshadowed and uncool, leading them to try to up their game by becoming more cartoon-like in real life.

As the episode opens, the boys are thrilled to hear that their animated show has been picked up for a full season. They rush to the studio to record some new lines, but when they see the way their cartoon selves are depicted, they're a little taken aback. Kendall is a superhero with bulging muscles, Carlos is a tiny wisp of a character, Logan is a mad scientist, and James is a handsome prince. But worst of all, their cartoon selves are getting all the best lines and biggest laughs.

As the boys start to preview clips of their show, they're dismayed to see that their cartoon counterparts are getting all the attention. When they try to be silly and cartoonish in real life, it just seems awkward and forced. They feel like they're losing their cool factor, and they're desperate to find a way to win it back.

In an effort to get back in the spotlight, Kendall tries to become more of a muscle-bound hero, Carlos seeks to become more of a quirky sidekick, Logan attempts to be more of a madcap comic relief, and James goes all out with the prince charm. But it's all for naught, as their cartoon selves continue to dominate the pop culture landscape.

Meanwhile, their producer Kelly is worried that the boys are losing sight of what's really important: their music. She reminds them that their cartoon show is just a vehicle to promote their band, and that they shouldn't worry so much about their cartoon images. The boys realize that she's right, and that they're letting their egos get in the way of their true talent.

In the end, the boys embrace their cartoon selves and choose to focus on making great music. They realize that their show is just a fun bonus, and that they don't need to be cartoonishly over-the-top to be cool. They perform a killer concert to a packed house, reminding everyone that they're still the same amazing musicians they've always been.

"Big Time Cartoon" is a fun episode that pokes fun at the idea of celebrity vanity and the perils of being a pop culture icon. It's also a great reminder that being true to yourself is always the coolest thing you can do. Fans of Big Time Rush will love this silly, self-aware episode that showcases the band's fun-loving spirit and musical chops.
