Ep 7. I Fall to Pieces

Cassie, Jenny, and Lindor are still investigating the disappearance of Ronald Pergman when they come across some disturbing new evidence in episode 7 of Big Sky's first season named "I Fall to Pieces." Meanwhile, Cassie continues to deal with her son's decision to move in with his father, Cody.

The episode opens with Sheriff Tubb trying to interrogate Ronald Pergman's wife, Merilee. She is still in shock after finding out her husband was a kidnapper and is struggling to come to terms with everything. However, the Sheriff is not interested in her excuses and demands answers. As he prods her, she breaks down and finally tells him that she thinks Ronald had a partner.

Meanwhile, Cassie, Jenny, and Lindor are examining the tunnel where Ronald kept his victims. While they are there, they find a piece of dental work that does not belong to any of the victims they know about. This discovery suggests that there may have been another victim that they are not aware of.

Back in town, Jenny is busy taking care of her little sister while also trying to track down her ex who has been avoiding his child support payments. While she is busy with family drama, Cassie is struggling to deal with her own domestic issues. Her son is settled in with his father, Cody, but Cassie is still feeling the sting of being left out of the decision.

As the investigation continues, Cassie and Jenny visit the dental clinic to try and track down the owner of the dental work they found. They come across a few leads but eventually find the right person. When they talk to the individual, they learn that he was a cabin renter at the same location where Ronald Pergman kept his victims. This information leads them to believe that Ronald's partner may have been someone who rented from him at the same time.

While they are sorting through this new information, Ronald's partner makes a move. He kidnaps Merilee and takes her to the same location where Ronald kept his victims. When the team realizes what has happened, they scramble to find her before it's too late.

The episode heats up as the team races to save Merilee and track down Ronald's partner. With limited time, they put the clues together to figure out where he could be hiding. As they close in, the team finds themselves in a dangerous situation. They need to be quick on their feet if they want to save Merilee and bring Ronald's partner to justice.

In the end, the investigation leads to more questions than answers. Cassie and Jenny are left to sift through the remains of the case and try to piece together what they know. Meanwhile, the rest of the town continues to deal with the aftermath of Ronald's crimes.
