Ep 9. La Isla Bey-Nita!!

Ray found an island where he thinks they could train in isolation. When they finally found the place, they were met by a couple, Carmon and his wife Mariah. Carmon saw Ray's Beyblade and challenged him to a battle. He also introduced their child, Rafael, who was a beyblade fanatic.

Carmon and Ray battled, but Ray didn't use his full strength in the match. Carmon had a beyblade named "Gargoyle" which he used in the match against Ray. It was a powerful beyblade but Ray's experience allowed him to counter most of Carmon's moves. However, just as Ray was about to win, Carmon cheated by using a remote control to enhance the performance of his beyblade.

Ray was surprised and confused about what just happened. The rest of the team arrived on the island afterward and they met Rafael, who gave them a tour of the island's training facility. While touring, they found out that Carmon and Mariah were the parents of the former world champion, Enrique. Enrique had become inaccessible and reclusive since he retired from his beyblading career. Ray decided that he needed to compete against Carmon again to figure out what they were up to.

The day of the match came, and Carmon gave Ray a rematch. Ray used his full skill this time and was able to defeat Carmon's Beyblade, even with the remote control modifications. Ray asked Carmon to confess to cheating, and he finally revealed that he was hired by a man named Gideon who was looking for talented Beybladers to represent his company in upcoming tournaments.

Before they could discuss further, Mariah came to reveal that Gideon had taken Rafael hostage and they wanted their son back before they revealed any more information about Gideon. The team agreed to help them.

They discovered Gideon's hideout which turned out to be a floating arena. They infiltrated it, but after rescuing Rafael, they were confronted by Gideon and Enrique. Gideon revealed that he was planning to dominate the Beyblading world, and Enrique was going to be his primary force. A battle ensued between Ray and Enrique, which was one of the most intense battles ever on the show. It was a close fight; both bladers were exhibiting exceptional skills. However, Ray emerged victorious.

After the battle, Gideon was arrested, and Enrique revealed that he had been under Gideon's control for a long time. He wanted to free himself from the shackles of his past and start life anew. Enrique also acknowledged Ray as a great Beyblader and vowed to train harder to become a better Beyblader. He bade Ray and his team farewell and left.

Ray and his team left the island and continued their journey to find new challenges and master the game of Beyblading.
