Ep 9. Witch or Wife?

Samantha's old witch friend, Mary, pays a surprise visit to the Stephens home and it becomes clear that Samantha didn't tell Mary that she has married a mortal. Mary disapproves of the union, insisting that a witch must marry another witch, and Samantha begins to question her decision to marry Darrin. Mary tries to convince Samantha to leave Darrin and come live with her in the witches' realm, but Samantha refuses. Meanwhile, Darrin suspects that something is going on and confronts Samantha, only to find out about her witch heritage. Darrin and Mary have a heart-to-heart talk about their differences, and Darrin ultimately wins Mary's respect by showing her how much he loves Samantha. In the end, Mary realizes that Samantha and Darrin are truly in love and leaves them alone.
