Ep 13. Late Night Dates

Betty White's Off Their Rockers is a reality TV show that aired from 2012 to 2014. The show featured senior citizens playing pranks on young adults in various situations. The first victim is a young man who thinks he is meeting a young woman at a coffee shop. Instead, he finds himself sitting across from an elderly man who pretends to be the woman's grandfather. The old man goes on to interrogate the young man, asking him all sorts of questions about his intentions with his "granddaughter," all while sipping on a cup of coffee and slowly eating a muffin.

Next up is a woman in her 20s who thinks she is going on a date with a "hot firefighter." As she approaches the meeting spot, she hears sirens blaring and sees smoke coming from a building up ahead. As she runs towards the chaos, she is intercepted by a group of seniors dressed as firefighters who start flirting with her and trying to charm her.

The next victim is a young man who thinks he is going to have a romantic date by the beach. As he arrives, he sees a woman sitting on a bench, looking sad and forlorn. He approaches her and asks if she is okay. The woman, actually a senior, starts telling him about how her husband passed away and how much she misses him. As she continues with her story, she suddenly pulls out a harmonica and starts playing, much to the young man's surprise.

The last prank involves a young woman who thinks she is meeting a private investigator. Instead, she is greeted by a group of seniors who set up a fake crime scene in a parking lot and are pretending to gather evidence. The young woman is confused as to why the seniors are dressed like detectives and why they are so serious about the "crime scene."

Throughout the episode, Betty White appears in between the pranks, providing commentary and adding her unique brand of humor to the show. The pranks themselves are harmless and silly, but they also showcase the sharp wit and playful spirit that seniors can possess. The show ends with a group of seniors doing a dance routine in the park, proving that age is just a number.
