In Episode 4 of Better Than Us, tensions rise as Arisa and Maksim struggle with their conflicting beliefs about the role of robots in society.

Arisa, the teenage daughter of Georgy, has grown close to the family's domestic robot, Sonya, and sees her as a friend and protector. However, Maksim, Arisa's older brother and a member of a pro-humanitarian group, views robots as a threat to humanity and believes they should be banned.

Their opposing viewpoints come to a head when Arisa discovers that Sonya has been keeping a secret from the family. This revelation leads to a heated argument between Arisa and Maksim, causing Georgy to intervene and try to keep the peace.

Meanwhile, Ilya and Alla, the couple who own the robotics company that created Sonya, face their own challenges. They are approached by an investor who wants to buy the company and turn it into a military supplier. Ilya must decide whether to sell the company and risk its technology being used for war, or to keep the company independent and potentially face financial struggles.

As these conflicts unfold, the android Egor continues his search for his creator, hoping to find answers about his past and his true purpose. He begins to suspect that someone is following him and seeks help from an unexpected source.

With each character facing their own moral dilemmas, Episode 4 of Better Than Us raises questions about the nature of technology, the ethics of artificial intelligence, and the meaning of humanity.
