Ep 2. The Lawyer, The Lemur and the Little Listener

Ted Crisp is the head of R&D at Veridian Dynamics, an interesting company that creates revolutionary products. Ted is a great guy, and he wants nothing but the best for his employees. In the second episode of the second season, called "The Lawyer, The Lemur, and the Little Listener," things are heating up.

Ted's boss, Veronica Palmer, hires a new lawyer, Linda Zwordsell, to make sure that Veridian Dynamics is following every legal step possible. However, things get complicated when Linda, who happens to be a vegetarian, falls for one of the lab's animals, a lemur named Lem or Lena, depending on their gender. On the other hand, Rose, a Veridian employee, tries to get Ted's help to outsmart Veridian's new technology, the "No-Loud Talker". This technology is used as an eavesdropper to collect data to garner more profits for the company.

The plot thickens when Lem takes a liking to Linda and starts to wreak havoc on Veridian Dynamics. Linda decides to take Lem home for a night, and all hell breaks loose. The animal creates chaos, destroying Linda's apartment and wreaking havoc on her love life. Linda finds herself in a bind and has no idea how to get out of the mess that Lem has put her in.

Meanwhile, Rose is determined to outsmart the No-Loud Talker, a device that listens to employees' conversations and collects data to increase productivity. She recruits Ted's help, and the two of them set out to outsmart the technology. They develop a strategy to whisper about useless topics to throw off the No-Loud Talker, but things don't go according to plan.

As Ted, Rose, and Linda's battles continue, they all eventually come to the realization that they have to work together to resolve the problems they face. By doing so, they create a plan that not only solves their issues but also makes Veridian Dynamics a better company.

"The Lawyer, The Lemur, and the Little Listener" is a quirky and fun episode. The storyline is full of twists and turns, and the actors' performances are top-notch. Portia de Rossi, who plays Veronica, does an excellent job of portraying the cut-throat boss who wants nothing more than to get ahead. Jay Harrington excellently portrays Ted Crisp, the nice guy who wants to do the right thing. Andrea Anders brings her all to the role of Linda Zwordsell, the quirky vegan lawyer.

The episode is a testament to the show's unique style of storytelling that focuses on workplace shenanigans and the absurdity of corporate life. The actors' chemistry is what makes the show work, and this episode is no exception.
