In "Sabrosito," the fourth episode of season three of Better Call Saul, we see Jimmy (aka Saul), still struggling with his life after his suspension, meeting with a new client who offers him an opportunity to earn some cash and, of course, screw over his brother Chuck.
Meanwhile, the episode also gives us a glimpse of Gus Fring's operation, as the villainous character expands the influence of his fast-food empire into the Los Pollos Hermanos establishment in Albuquerque. We also see Mike's continue to be involved in Gus' business.
The episode's main focus seems to be on the relationship between Gus and Hector Salamanca, with each side taking steps to one-up the other. The tension between them is palpable, and it is clear that the two are headed for a showdown.
While "Sabrosito" is a bit slower paced than some of the previous episodes, it is an important chapter in the show's ongoing narrative. We see the further development of the show's most intriguing characters, including Jimmy and Gus, and the groundwork is laid for what is bound to be an explosive conclusion.
