The show Benidorm is a British sitcom set in a resort town in Spain, and has been running since 2007. Season 9 is the final season, comprising of seven episodes.

Episode 5 is a comedic romp that sees the characters embroiled in various hijinks as they navigate the Spanish resort town and all the chaos that it entails. The episode features a typically wacky plot, as the regular characters and newcomers alike find themselves getting into various sticky situations.

The episode begins with the Garveys - a British family who return to Benidorm every year - preparing for a day out at the water park. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when they discover that the park has been closed due to an incident with a python. The family then make their way to the beach, only to find that they have left their towels behind. Chaos ensues as they try to enjoy their day out, with some amusing consequences.

Meanwhile, the Solana Resort is buzzing with activity as the staff prepare for a charity fundraiser - a competition to see which employee can sell the most raffle tickets. The competition sees the lovable but slightly clueless waiter Mateo go head-to-head with the devious and manipulative Kenneth. The two engage in a hilarious battle of wits as they try to outdo each other, with the rest of the staff getting caught up in the drama.

The ever-scheming Joyce Temple-Savage, the manager of the resort, also finds herself in a tricky situation as she tries to put on a musical number for the fundraiser. However, her plans are hampered by a troublesome performer who threatens to derail everything. Joyce must use all her skills to try and restore order before the show begins.

The episode also sees the introduction of some new characters, including a group of young lads who arrive in Benidorm looking for a good time. Their antics soon get them into trouble, as they get caught up in a feud between two rival bars. The situation escalates, and it's up to the Garveys to try and resolve things before things get out of hand.

As always, Benidorm season 9 episode 5 is full of laughs, with plenty of funny moments and amusing situations to keep viewers entertained. The show is well-loved for its colorful characters, wacky plotlines, and irreverent humor, and this episode delivers all of that in spades.
