The episode begins with hotel manager Joyce Temple-Savage (Sherrie Hewson) dealing with a crisis as a group of nudists check into the Solana Resort. Joyce is initially hesitant about allowing the nudists to stay, but eventually decides to accommodate them and assigns them to a private area of the hotel. However, complications arise when one of the nudists, a famous athlete named Daley Thomas (Harry Hepple), is caught breaking the hotel's "no sex" policy with another guest. Joyce must try to discreetly handle the situation before it becomes a bigger scandal.
Meanwhile, the Garvey family, consisting of parents Mick (Steve Pemberton) and Janice (Siobhan Finneran) and their children Michael (Oliver Stokes) and Chantelle (Hannah Hobley), are adjusting to life in Benidorm after moving there permanently. Mick is eager to start a new business venture and ropes in the help of conman Monty (John Challis) to invest in a new bar. However, things don't go according to plan as Monty ends up getting arrested and the bar's grand opening is jeopardized.
Elsewhere in the resort, newlyweds Pauline (Selina Griffiths) and Noreen (Elsie Kelly) are enjoying their honeymoon but are dismayed when they discover their hotel room is haunted. They enlist the help of psychic Crystal (Judy Flynn) to investigate the ghostly sightings, but their humorous attempts to rid themselves of the ghost lead to even more chaos.
Throughout the episode, the characters' lives intersect and collide in unexpected ways, leading to comedic situations and heartwarming moments. The show's signature blend of wit, charm, and over-the-top humor make "Episode 2" a standout episode in the sixth season of this beloved British sitcom.
