The episode follows the various holidaymakers and staff members at the Solana resort and their misadventures as they navigate their way through the town's many attractions and distractions.
At the heart of the episode is the arrival of a group of swingers, led by the charismatic Venus (played by Sally Phillips), who sets her sights on the unsuspecting Les (Tim Healy) and his wife Janice (Siobhan Finneran). Chaos ensues as Venus attempts to seduce Les while Janice drunkenly flirts with a young pool attendant.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Solana staff are dealing with their own issues. Mateo (Jake Canuso) is struggling with his new role as manager and clashes with Joyce (Sherrie Hewson) over how to run the hotel. The flamboyant Kenneth (Tony Maudsley) is desperate to impress a handsome newcomer, but his plans go awry when he mistakenly believes that the man is interested in him.
The holidaymakers are equally busy. Clive (Perry Benson) and Tonya (Hannah Waddingham) are on the hunt for a new holiday romance, while a group of middle-aged women led by Jacqueline (Janine Duvitski) embark on a boozy night out that ends in disaster.
As always, the episode is full of laughs, outrageous behavior, and cringe-worthy moments. The clever writing and talented cast make each scene memorable, from Kenneth's disastrous attempts at romance to Venus's risqué seduction of Les.
