In Benidorm season 2 episode 2, the beloved Solana resort is as bustling as ever, with guests arriving from every corner of the globe. With so many different personalities in one place, drama is bound to ensue.
The episode begins with the arrival of a new couple, Jacqueline and Donald, who are quick to make an impression on the other guests. Jacqueline is a glamorous, high-maintenance woman who seems to be hiding something, while Donald is a quiet, unassuming man who dotes on his wife.
Meanwhile, barman Mateo is dealing with his own problems as he becomes smitten with a mysterious new guest, Troy. Mateo struggles with his feelings as he tries to impress Troy, even going so far as to pretend to be a film director to impress him.
The Garvey family is also in town, including freeloading son Michael who shows up uninvited and begins causing trouble for his parents. Madge and Melvyn are also feeling the pressure of their marriage, as they bicker and argue over petty things.
As the episode progresses, tensions rise between the guests as their true colors begin to show. Jacqueline's secret is finally revealed, causing a stir among the other guests, and Michael's behavior continues to spiral out of control.
In true Benidorm fashion, there are plenty of laughs and hijinks along the way, making for an entertaining and lighthearted episode. Despite their differences, the guests of the Solana resort continue to come together in unexpected ways, proving that even in a foreign land, there's always a sense of community to be found.
