Ep 14. Lucy's Sleepover/Miss Jolly's Riding Club
Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom is a popular children's animated series that follows the adventures of a young fairy princess named Holly and her best friend, a young elf named Ben. In season 2 episode 14, titled "Lucy's Sleepover/Miss Jolly's Riding Club," Holly and Ben have two exciting adventures to go on.
In the first part of the episode, "Lucy's Sleepover," Lucy, Holly's human friend, invites Holly and Ben to a sleepover. Lucy is excited to show her two fairy and elf friends what it's like to have a sleepover at a human house. Holly and Ben are both apprehensive at first, as they're used to sleeping in their own beds in the Little Kingdom. However, they soon warm up to the idea and find themselves having a great time. Lucy's mom makes popcorn and they watch a movie together, and then they play games and have pillow fights in Lucy's room.
As the night wears on, Holly and Ben realize they're getting tired and want to go to sleep. However, they're not sure where they should sleep. Lucy suggests that they sleep in the living room, but Holly is worried that they'll be seen by Lucy's dad, who doesn't know about fairies and elves. Ben comes up with a plan to use some of Lucy's blankets and make themselves into a nest on the floor. They all settle in and eventually fall asleep, happy and cozy in their makeshift nest.
In the second part of the episode, "Miss Jolly's Riding Club," Miss Jolly, the local riding teacher, announces that she's starting a new riding club for children. Holly and Ben are both excited to join, but realize they need some help before they can ride a horse. They turn to Nanny Plum, Holly's nanny and magical fairy, for help. Nanny Plum decides to turn their snail, Gaston, into a horse so they can practice riding.
Holly and Ben are thrilled to start practicing on Gaston, and Nanny Plum acts as their riding instructor. However, they quickly realize that riding a horse is harder than it looks, and they struggle to stay on Gaston's back. Nanny Plum encourages them to keep practicing, and eventually they get the hang of it. Their hard work pays off when Miss Jolly comes to see their progress, and she's impressed with how far they've come. She invites them to join her riding club, and Holly and Ben are thrilled to become members.
Overall, "Lucy's Sleepover/Miss Jolly's Riding Club" is a fun and entertaining episode that teaches kids about friendship, perseverance, and trying new things. Kids will love watching Holly and Ben navigate their way through a sleepover at a human house and learning how to ride a horse. The show's colorful animation, engaging characters, and playful songs make it a hit with kids and parents alike.
